State policies of free initiatives were adopted: NFP president

GOVERNMENT policies like the free bus fare and tuition-free education were adopted from the National Federation Party (NFP)’s 1982 and 2001 general elections manifestos.

This was the message from NFP president Pio Tikoduadua to more than 2500 people who gathered for the party’s annual convention and 55th anniversary celebration at AD Patel College on Saturday.

“So they are not original ideas of this government,” he claimed.

“However, unfortunately, this government does not even copy our ideas well in its implementation so that it fully benefits the people.”
