THE General Machinery sponsored 2017 season closing event will be played at the Fiji Sugar Corporation Rarawai course on April 15. Tee off: 9am. This will be followed by the AGM.

Fiji Golf Club

The Fiji Golf Club will host the 18 holes event on Friday and the 9 holes stableford on Friday. Tee off 8am to 1.30am

Fiji Open

THE Cardos Steakhouse Fiji Open Championship will be played at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club course in Nadi from June 8-10. Preference will be given to professionals, overseas amateurs and A Grade entries with a maximum of 12 handicap for men. Entry fee: $300 (locals), $360 (overseas). The Lautoka Rugby Union will hold its AGM on April 13. All affiliated LRU club presidents and secretaries are urged to attend the meeting. Matters to be discussied include: agenda: welcome and opening, apologies, minutes of the last AGM and matters arising, 2017 Annual Report, receive and adopt financial report, motions, closure. Subscription — in accordance, all 2017 subscription fees must be paid in full. Any member whose annual subscription is due will not be able to participate in the AGM.
