THE Suva Grammar School Under 16 rugby team defeated their urban rivals Marist Brothers High School 12-6 to maintain their winning streak in the Powerade Super Deans Southern Zone Rugby competition.
Donning their new jerseys sponsored by BLK, the Grammarians U15 and U16 side defeated their opponents with confidence.
The SGS U15 side thrashed John Wesley College 37-6, with the U17 and U18 side yet to play against MBHS.
Meanwhile, in the U14 grade, Nasinu Secondary School won by default against Assemblies of God Secondary School, as well as Ratu Sukuna Memorial School winning by default against MBHS.
In the UI5 grade, SGS beat JWC 37-6, NSS 31-5 RSMS, Dudley High School 15-10 Latter Day Saints.
In the U16 grade, SGS 12-6 MBHS, RSMS 20-0 NSS, Lomary Secondary School 19-7 AOGHS, and in the U17 grade – JWC 32-0 DHS.
