THE Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby competition began at the Suva Grammar School grounds today.
One of the most awaited matches was between Suva Grammar School and Ratu Sukuna Memorial School (RSMS) in the under 16 grade, which unfortunately was stopped seven minutes from full time following a brawl between players.
RSMS fresh from its tour to New Zealand outclassed SGS in all facets of the match but couldn’t clinch victory with the Lions winning the match 11-5 though good tactical decisions.
Both sides scored a try each with SGS adding more to its tally from two converted penalties.
