FIFTY students from the University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Lautoka campus visited the Golden Age Home yesterday to help cleanup the premises and spend time with the
residents .
USP Lautoka campus student association president Viliame Naulivou said the students also gave items in kind, such as diapers, soap and shampoo, to the caretakers at
the home.
“It is part of our activity that we include in our semester plan and this time we have conducted an outreach to the Golden Age Home,” he said.
“There is more to come and we’re doing it on behalf of the students to give back to the community.”
