Snooker singles tourney receives monetary boost

THE 2018 Southern Snooker Singles Open Tournament received a major boost from RC Manubhai and Company Limited with a sponsorship of $1500.

The cheque handover took place at the RC Manubhai and Company Limited headquarters in Raiwai, Suva earlier today.

Southern Division Billiards and Snooker Association president David Ratnam said top players were expected to compete in the three-day tournament.

“We are thankful to the company for the sponsorship as it will help us to run the tournament,” Mr Ratnam said.

The tournament will be played from July 20-22 at the Merchant Club, Defence Club and Fiji Club.
