FIJI Airways national men’s sevens rugby captain Jerry Tuwai was disappointed with the side’s loss to England in the quarterfinal of the HSBC Paris 7s.

But he was thankfull with what the team achieved at the final leg of the 2017-18 HSBC World Sevens Series.

Fiji finished fifth after losing to England 19-17 in the cup quarter-finals.

Tuwai said Fiji had some new players this season.

But the team was unlucky to have lost to England, he said. England scored a try in the dying seconds of the game after 26 passes.

Tuwai said South Africa was a good side and the Fiji team always looked forward to playing against them.
