Skipper Cup: Namosi secures crucial win over Nadroga

NAMOSI secured a crucial 26-17 win over BLK Nadroga Stallions in the Skipper Cup encounter at Lawaqa Park this afternoon.

Former Fiji 7s flyhalf Alivereti Veitokani was the toast of the Namosi team scoring 16 points from his boot to help Namosi won.

Veitokani combined well with Seru Vularika and skipper Mosese Voka to spearhead Namosi’s campaign.

Namosi scored two tries – one each to flyer Timoci Sinate and Voka, while Nadroga’s three tries were scored by Joseva Nahalo, Setefano Samoca and Sevuloni Tawake.

Jiuta Lutumailagi converted one try.

Nadroga will face Rewa and Malolo in their remaining games while Namosi to play Nadi and Navosa.
