Skipper Cup: Naitasiri brace for biggest test

SKIPPER Cup points table leader QAQA Naitasiri is bracing for its biggest test when it faces reigning champions BLK Nadroga Stallion in the feature match tomorrow.

Head coach Koli Sewabu said top of the battle between points table leaders would be a thriller and has called on the fans to turn up in huge numbers and support the team.

He said the support of their home fans would lift the morale of the players especially in a tough battle such as this.

“This is a tough battle as we are up against the champion team of Fiji,” said Sewabu.

“We have been working hard at training and focussing more on improving our breakdown tactics.

“We urge the fans to come out in huge numbers and support the boys.”

Naitasiri leads the competition with 13 points followed by Nadroga on 10 points. Suva and Rewa also recorded 10 points each.

Meanwhile, in other Skipper cup games tomorrow Namosi hosts Rewa at Thompson,  Navosa faces Suva at the ANZ Stadium at Prince Charles Park.
