Singapore 7s: Fiji secures semi final spot

Fiji has secured the first spot in the semi finals at the HSBC World Rugby Singapore 7s after defeating New Zealand 24-19.In a typical Fiji Vs New Zealand, the Fiji Airways side earned its stripes through a last minute opportunistic try to Amenoni Nasilasila, his second in the game which put Fiji in the lead from the 17-19 scoreline at the time.

Fiji’s other tries came from Waisea Nacuqu and Eroni Sau.

Fiji will meet the winner of the current quarter finals between Kenya and South Africa at 8.50pm while the final will be played at midnight.
