CATHOLIC churches in Fiji will now have their weekly Sunday services focused on the season of creation for the month of September.

This was highlighted by the Head of the Catholic Church in Fiji, Archbishop Peter Loy Chong, after he launched the climate change song titled ‘Climate Change Victims Lament’ at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Suva today.

“Apart from this, for the month of September, all our services are going to be focused on the season of creation,” Archbishop Loy Chong said.

“Schools are going to be talking about it, village people are going to be talking about it and so the more we generate discussion and knowledge, we can bring it out to the world.”
