Sea Eagles confident of winning the U14 title

MALAWAI Sea Eagles is confident of winning the FNRL under-14 title against Saru Dragons this afternoon.
Team manager Sitiveni Kalouniviti said the side was optimistic of ending their season on high.
He said the players had sacrificed their time at training and would give the Dragons a good run for their money.
Kalouniviti said the side wanted to create a history in the sport for being the first team to win the title in their first year of competition.
“This is the first time we are playing rugby league and our aim is to win the title,” he said.
“We are up against an experienced side who have been in the sport for more than 10 years.
“We got a mixture of young and energic boys from some top schools in Nadi.
“Our boys have prepared well for the battle and we are confident of lifting the trophy to Nadi.”
Kalouniviti said a win for the Sea Eagles would inspire more players in the area to be part of the team next season.
Meanwhile, the Dragons will dominate the FNRL Vodafone Cup finals to be played at Lautoka’s Churchill Park today.
FNRL development manager West Lagilagi Golea said the success of the club was a testament of the development program being made over the years.
The Dragons will be represented in the U14, U16,U18, senior grade and the Top 8.
The first game kicks off at 9.45am.
