THE French Embassy gave about 30 new computers worth $50,000 to Suva Grammar School yesterday.
French Embassy deputy head of mission Jules Irrmann said the computers would help students with their computer learning skills.
“We are giving French lessons here so this is a way to help the students in this school,” Mr Irrman said.
“We hope the students will make use of their new computers and we’re very happy to make this kind of donation.”
School principal Waisake Ravatu said: “Out of the blue, they came in and helped the school. I’m happy and forever grateful to the embassy for their assistance.”
