THE Save the Children (SC)Fiji has drawn up plans to help people and communities that have been affected by the recent flooding around the country.
SC Fiji chief executive officer Iris Low-McKenzie said they would hope to establish child friendly spaces either at evacuation centres or schools to allow children to return to some normality after the disaster.
“We are working with the Ministry of Education and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF )and will be supporting children returning to school through the provision of education materials,” Mrs McKenzie said.
