Update: 2:13PM THE gloomy weather failed to dampen the spirits of Zumba enthusiasts as they attended a Charity Zumbathon organized by Save the Children Fiji at the Fiji Museum this morning.

Close to
100 people participated in the  event consisting of
  participants who were as young at five years old.

Certified
zumba Instructor Karen Krishna said the turnout of people was really
encouraging with many of the participants being young children .

“People
really enjoyed it. It was a fruitful morning. Zumba is one of many forms of
exercises and the thing that makes zumba stand out is that is fun,” Ms Krishan
said.  

Also
participants got to hear a motivational speech from  former national 15’s
rugby player Seremaia Bai at the event.
