ERONI Sau was rewarded for his powerful performance in the three-day HSBC Hong Kong 7s when he was named the tournament’s newcomer after the final victory over Kenya.
The Yasawa “sledgehammer” played outstandingly throughout the tournament with blockbusting runs and tough defence.
Coach Gareth Baber said Sau had a long to go in his rugby career.
“He is playing well right now,” Baber said.
“He is a good kid, he is good around the place and is a strong player.
“He has a very big future in his rugby career. I know there will be a lot of people, a lot of agents and clubs looking at him.
“But at the moment what he is doing, he is doing it for his country and his love for Fiji,” he said.
