THE Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team bounced back from their early defeat to Spain and hammered Papua New Guinea 43-0 to secure a spot in the Rugby World Cup Sevens Challenge semi-final tomorrow.

Despite being out of the main competition, the Ana Maria-captained side re-set its focus and played their hearts out to secure the big win.

Skipper Roqica and flyer Rejieli Daveua scored two tries each while Mereula Torooti, Asinate Savu, Miriama Naiobasali scored a try each. Viniana converted three tries and Luisa Basei Tisolo added two points to her name from a conversion.
