FIJIAN President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote commissioned the Rosie Travel Group’s $5million meetings and incentives warehouse in Namaka yesterday.

Rosie Travel Group managing director Tony Whitton said the three-storey complex would house more than 250,000 items and props that were deployed as part of event theming and management services.

He said although the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) market represented three per cent of total visitor arrivals to Fiji, it contributed in excess of $100million annually into the Fijian economy.
