THE Fiji Roads Authority says that roads at Qila on Taveuni are accessible and in good condition.
Responding to concerns of residents who claim that roads are in a deplorable condition, a statement from the authority said engineers were on Taveuni last week to check and ensure the roads were in proper condition.
The statement said at the moment they were carrying our vegetation control works along the road.
“Qila road is accessible and in good condition,” he said.
The statement urged members of the public to contact them directly on their toll free number 5720 or send them an email on email@example.com to log and follow up on requests and complaints.
Earlier, Qila resident James Sami, claimed the road was in a bad condition and was affecting 700 residents in the farming settlement.
