FIJIAN Police are calling on members of the public to refrain from resorting to irrational solutions when dealing with domestic conflicts.
This call follows an incident after a man consumed toxic liquid after an argument with his wife.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the victim had called his brother to transport him to hospital.
“The incident happened yesterday afternoon when the couple had a fight,” she said.
“The man is admitted at the Labasa hospital for observation.
“We call on people to resolve their differences amicably.”
