Rakiraki under water

Update: 3:56PM RAKIRAKI town is currently underwater. Fiji Roads Authority Communications Assistant, Zafiya Shamim confirmed this in a statement issued this afternoon saying Rakiraki town is flooded due to rise in the river level.

FRA is advising members of the public to please take extra care, drive to the conditions and do not cross any flooded roads or crossings.
Meanwhile other crossings confirmed by FRA that are underwater are Drana, Narara, Katudrau, Vatukacevaceva, Waimari, Qalau, Savusavu and Burelevu crossings.
