THE Fiji Times-organised Spot the Bunny & Win promotion held in partnership with Huawei Technologies (Fiji) PVT Ltd announced its major prizewinner in the first week of its promotion yesterday.
Marika Banuve, 45, of Kinoya, was presented with a Huawei Y5 2017 mobile phone and a Huawei selfie stick by Huawei’s retail dealer executive Samuela Rabuku at The Fiji Times conference room in Suva yesterday.
Mr Rabuku said the Huawei brand of mobile phones was a new brand in the Pacific and they were relative newcomers in the Fijian market.
“And sponsoring the promotion is a great branding for us to enable us to penetrate the Fijian market in terms of our brand with consumers.
“Basically most of our brands are normally associated with corporate organisations like Digicel, Vodafone and Telecom Fiji,” Mr Rabuku said.
He said for their devices such as mobile phones they had just started to penetrate the Pacific market and had started here in Fiji through Papua New Guinea.
“We have been operating in Fiji for only four years branching out of our PNG office,” he said.
The five-week Easter Bunny promotion was launched by this newspaper on Saturday March 10 where readers were invited to locate four Easter bunnies carefully hidden in the daily pages and entries were to reach The Fiji Times office in Suva by 12 noon every Friday.
Apart from the Huawei major prizes of a Huawei Y5 2017 mobile phone and a selfie stick, readers also get a chance to win consolation prizes including 2 x $100 JR White vouchers, 2x FMF hampers, 1x $50 Kaya Samsara Spa voucher and 1x $50 ProfessioNails voucher.
