Parveen Bala Kumar was the chief quest at Natokowaga in Lautoka for the ground-breaking of the multipurpose court which I attended and I am thankful. Food and refreshment were provided after the consultation. I noticed that the chief quest and entourage were served lovo food. The rest of us populace got takeaway palau in styrofoam packs. We were thankful for it but may I ask why the difference?

Mercy and forgiveness
Practise mercy and forgiveness throughout as a lesson that symbolises the love shown through His crucifixion.
Since there has been an outbreak of the meningococcal disease, has there been a warning regarding social gatherings? Especially, where kava is served! I believe it is also spread via saliva. Oh yucks!

Importance of forgiveness
I thank this newspaper for highlighting the importance of forgiveness and what the cross of Jesus mean to Christians all over the world during Easter (FT 29/3). We desperately need it whatever it may be.

Hot cross loaves
Just like we have hot cross buns, I reckon introducing hot cross loaf would also be nice.
Seeing hot cross loaf decoratively displayed here at bakeries, reminded me of old memories of the warm loaves from the Hot Bread Kitchen, Raiwaqa Bakery and Tabaraki bread shop. Nothing beats warm freshly baked Fiji breads over the counter with Rewa butter. Happy Easter everyone and stay safe!

THANK you Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) Rakiraki for fulfilling my wishes and The Fiji Times for highlighting my concern. My water tank has been delivered and free of charge. Now I will enjoy my Easter.
Good to know
Right on Mr Pickering (FT/28/3/18). Good to note aspiring candidates understand workers’ plight and challenges faced by the working poor in our country.
