ACCOUNTING firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers(PWC) organised a Bushells Fiji’s Biggest Morning Tea (BFBMT) at their office in Suva today.

Staff of PWC got together in a bid to raise funds to help people suffering from cancer and assist the Fiji Cancer Society (FCS) in its advocacy and awareness on cancer in the country.

PWC senior partner Nitin Gandhi said the event was organised for a good cause.

Fiji Cancer Society (FCS) president Philip Low said last year’s morning tea initiatives raised $60,000.

“We are also in the process of developing a social network centre with the help of our survivor group,” Mr Low said.

The event was attended by staff from Bank South Pacific (BSP) Life, FCS, DHL and representatives from the Motibhai and Company Limited.

PWC collected around in excess of $7000 as of 5pm today and this was the third time they had hosted the morning tea event.

The official month for breast cancer awareness – Pinktober- will start next month.
