NATIONAL Federation Party provisional candidate, Riddhi Damodar wishes to see more women in parliament.

She highlighted this during the National Women in Politics Forum hosted by the Media Watch Group at the St Josephs Secondary School hall in Suva today (May 31).

“I really wish to see a larger number of women making it to parliament in this year’s elections,” she said.

“This is because when we need to have a balance of power between the number of men and women inside parliament, that is going to significantly change the policies that we are considering and then the solutions that we are trying to propose.”

“I do feel that women have stronger view points and the more women we will have the better policies will come out.”
