THE Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Indian High Commission have announced a power-packed line-up of speakers for the second business forum this Saturday, August 4, at the Tanoa Skylodge Hotel.

Agriculture Minister Inia Seruiratu is scheduled to open the event and is expected to focus his address on the hidden potential for economic growth, productivity and prosperity in the crop and livestock sector.

Indian High Commissioner Vishvas Sapkal will speak on Fiji-India trade relations, growth and opportunities.

Minister for Forests Osea Naiqamu will relay the forestry industry’s contribution to GDP and the hidden potential in green gold.

Fiji Roads Authority CEO Jonathan Moore is also scheduled to speak about road upgrading works and this is an opportunity for forum participants to understand the progress that has been made and constraints the FRA is facing.

The forum begins at midday and is scheduled to end at 6.30pm.

“We are extremely grateful to the Indian High Commission for their generosity as our major sponsor and the University of the South Pacific as well,” said chamber president Dr Ram Raju.
