THE Fiji Airways Fiji 7s extended 16-member squad has landed in USA for the World Cup Sevens later this month.

The team arrived at the Los Angeles Airport from where they will travel to Utah for a two-week camp.

The mood in camp is positive as coach Gareth Baber will have a stressful two weeks to cut down the squad to 12.

This may be one of the hardest tasks Baber will have as the squad boasts players of top quality.

Baber names his final squad on July 18 with the tournament to start on July 21.

Fiji last won the tournament in 2005 having won much earlier in 1997.
