Police to limit movements around Government Buildings

Update: 6:00PM ROADS around the Government Buildings in Suva will be closed from Monday and only official government vehicles will be allowed entry as parliament starts.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said with the first sitting of Fiji’s parliament to be held on Tuesday preceded by the swearing in of all parliamentarians on Monday movement to and around Government Buildings will be limited.
“The Southern Cross Road behind the Albert Park pavilion will be closed from 7am on Monday and road blocks will be erected at both ends to allow only official vehicles to enter from the Holiday Inn end and to exit at the other end,” Ms Naisoro said.
