Police team on the hunt for mother of abandoned baby

A TEAM of Police officers from Labasa have been dispatched today to search for the mother of a baby who was abandoned at the Labasa Market on Tuesday this week.
Police spokesperson Inspector Jokatama Qio had appealed to members of the public to come forward with information that may assist in their investigations.
“Currently, the baby is still being kept at the Labasa hospital,” Mr Qio said.
