THE use of methamphetamine is becoming an issue in the country says Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu.
However, Mr Tudravu said the Fiji Police Force was aware of this and was working hard to track down on those using and distributing the hard drugs.
“While we cannot divulge the strategies as it would affect our work, we can say that we continue to receive information on those believed to be involved and that we have made recent arrests while small in nature, it does not make the issue any less significant because the mere existence of the drug can lead to other crimes,” he said.
