Police continue search of missing driver in Rewa River

Divers from the Fiji Police Special Response Unit continue their search of the missing driver whose vehicle veered off Kasavu Rd and plunged into the Rewa River on Tuesday morning, July 17, 20189. Picture: JONA KONATACI

POLICE are still searching for the body of the driver of the vehicle that veered of Kasavu Rd in Nausori into the Rewa River at around 4am yesterday.

The body of 21-year-old Monish Sami is yet to be found.

The body of 25-year-old Kaushal Singh who was traveling in the same vehicle was recovered yesterday by divers from the Police Special Response Unit.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the divers were still continuing with their search.
