ELEVEN children, the youngest a two-year-old, were reported to have separated from their parents and guardians at the Hibiscus festival in Nasinu.

And with an even larger turn-out expected at the Valelevu ground tonight, Police are asking parents and guardians to supervise their children closely.

It has also been confirmed that a childcare area has been created at the Valelevu Police Bure where children who have been separated from their parents and guardians will be kept.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said parents were to check the Valelevu Police Bure in case their children were separated from them at any point.
