FIJIAN Police are ready to investigate another case of pornographic materials being circulated on social media, this time allegedly involving a girl believed to be a minor.
Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police and Chief Operations Officer Maretino Qiolevu said Police was yet to receive a complaint regarding that video.
However, he said they would not hesitate to get to the bottom of it if a report was lodged.
“We understand that a second video is making its round on the internet, once we receive a complaint, we will get to the bottom of it,” ACP Qiolevu said.
The video of the minor is the second to be circulated on social media in a span of a month, the former being a case of nude pictures of a young school girl.
A report regarding the nude pictures was reported at the Nausori Police Station on April 18, and Police are still continuing with their investigation on that case.
