PRIME Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has asked Fiji Roads Authority chief executive officer Jonathan Moore to speed up repair works at the damaged Korotari suspension bridge in Labasa.

In a government briefing at midday in Nabouwalu, Mr Bainimarama, who has started his two days tour of the North said many people in the area  depended on the crossing.

He asked Mr Moore if his team could at least repair the bridge for residents to use and major works could also be looked at.
