FIJI Airways 7s coach Gareth Baber has made changes to his side for this weekend’s Singapore 7s, which include policeman Keponi Paul.

Experienced Isake Katonibau has also been recalled for the trip to Singapore as Fiji aims to do well and overtake South Africa in the series points standings. Katonibau, who played a vital role in the Jerry Tuwai-captained side when they created history by winning the Hong Kong tournament for the fourth year in a row early this month, will again be leading by example as they target their third tournament win in this series.

Baber was happy with Katonibau’s selection saying his presence will boost the players and give them confidence. The Fiji Airways 7s team leads Pool A and will be up against Spain, Russia and Japan. The selected players are: Mesulame Kunavula, Josua Vakurinabili, Isake Katonibau, Keponi Paul, Kalione Nasoko, Paula Dranisinukula, Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Amenoni Nasilasila, Vatemo Ravouvou, Eroni Sau, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Alasio Naduva.
