Passengers escape Lautoka bus fire

CLOSE to 40 passengers successfully escaped a bus fire in Lovu Lautoka earlier this afternoon.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said only one passenger suffered minor injuries while others were safe.

The Fiji Transport Company bus had caught fire but the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The National Fire Authority (NFA) has confirmed three fire trucks and 10 firemen attended the scene of the incident.
