THE FijiFirst party will be releasing its manifesto soon.

Party leader Voreqe Bainimarama said the party’s manifesto would include a wide range of objectives.

“We have a vision, a mission and a lot of objectives; a whole list of objectives and our manifesto will be released soon,” he said.

The party announced the names of 51 provisional candidates to contest the coming election under the party’s ticket on Wednesday.

The 51 names excluded 11 serving FijiFirst members of Parliament.

The list included 11 women. He said those selected were interviewed and selected on merit.

Meanwhile, Mr Bainimarama also clarified that the coming election would be held before November 22. “That’s the current plan,” he said.

“It’s easy to work out when the election will be, it will be before the 22nd of November.”
