Pacific parliamentarians discuss anti-corruption

Update: 4:43PM PARLIAMENTARIANS from the Pacific have gathered in Nadi for a two-day workshop focusing on the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).
According to UN Peace and Development advisor Sonja Bachmann, sustainable and effective anti-corruption reforms need to be implemented to help fight corruption.
Public Accounts Committee members Professor Biman Prasad, Balmindar Singh, Sanjit Patel and Aseri Radrodro attended today�s meeting.
Facilitated by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime and United Nations Development Program, the workshop ends tomorrow.
