WORLD Press Freedom Day is a chance for journalists to be given a platform to openly discuss issues that are not always addressed by authorities.
This was highlighted by the University of the South Pacific (USP) final year student, Koroi Tadulala during a penal discussion at the university earlier today.
Tadulala said it was a day to also share ideas and push towards a more media freedom landscape.
“I think today is another chapter in which we have to strive for a much more media freedom landscape,” he said.
