THE Fiji Museum had a good turnout at its open day as families and children came out in numbers to visit the national institution. According to the museum’s educational installation and promotion manager, Vereniki Nalio, the open day was a chance to educate the public about the museum’s role and responsibilities.

It was also an opportunity to explore Fiji’s rich history and heritage.

The children in attendance were reminded to be vigilant about their culture and heritage and learn as much as they could from the museum.

Apart from various activities for children, the museum also had a gallery exhibition and tours of its artefacts.
