EMOTIONAL, speechless and shocked was the reaction of Miss Fire and Ice Olive Vatunilagi when her name was announced as the 2018 Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Teen Queen at the Valelevu grounds in Nasinu last night.

The Year 11 Suva Sangam School student shed tears of joy when she thanked her supporters.

“I cannot describe how happy I am, this is so unbelievable and I am just thankful to everyone who has been supporting me,” she said.

“I would like to dedicate my achievement to my parents who are overseas and to my school and form mates.”

She also thanked her fellow contestants for being part of the competition and for advocating on issues that affected Fijians.

Miss Suva City Council Simran Nand won the Queen contestants’ Best Traditional Attire last night.

Meanwhile, the Adi Senikau Pageant will be held today at 7pm. Tickets are $25 per person and will be available at the Bank of Baroda Tent.
