OFC U16 Championship: Fiji trails Solomon Is at half-time

THE Vodafone Fiji U16 side trails Solomon Islands 2-1 at half-time in the semi-final of the OFC U16 Championship.

The hosts scored the opening goal in the first minute through Charles Mani.

Mani scored his team’s second goal in the 29th minute.

Nikhi Pillay pulled one back for Fiji in injury time.

The winner of this match qualifies for the FIFA U17 World Cup next year.

The second semi-final between Tahiti and New Zealand starts at 4pm.
