THE New Zealand government is eagerly waiting for Fiji’s election date.
High Commissioner Jonathan Curr said this in his overview address during the Fiji -New Zealand and New Zealand – Fiji Business Council’s 31st Joint Annual Conference 2018 at Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva today.
“On the political side of things, in terms of diplomatic visits we are hoping that sometime shortly after Fiji’s elections later this year – we are just eagerly awaiting news of when that might be – we hope that we might be able to have our Foreign Minister and perhaps in the first quarter of next year our Prime Minister to visit Fiji,” Mr Curr said.
