Northerners address dengue fever concerns

Update: 12:32PM MEMBERS of the public in Labasa and related stakeholders today staged a clean-up campaign in its efforts to keep their northern town free of dengue fever.
Chief guest Commissioner Northern Jovesa Vocea said the clean-up simply indicated unity and togetherness in working towards the eradication of dengue fever in their communities.
“This event will bring unity for all with a simple aim to stop the spread of dengue fever in our community,” Mr Vocea said.
“To work together means we all have the same motive and that is to stop dengue, destroy their breeding places and at the same time to keep our environment clean at all times.”
The areas that were cleaned up today was Nacula, Labasa Town, and other neighbouring areas.
