NO charges will be laid against government Member of Parliament Howard Politini.

This was confirmed in a statement issued today by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).

This is in relation to a complaint of criminal intimidation against Mr Politini on May 17, 2018.

The statement said the police file was sent to the DPP, Christopher Pryde for an assessment of the evidence and a decision on whether any charges should be laid following a complaint.

Mr Pryde said “following a review of the police docket and the evidence, it is our opinion that there is insufficient evidence to support criminal charges against Howard Politini and therefore the docket has been returned to police.”
