NFP names more candidates; Baravilala is new VP

MANASA Baravilala is the National Federation Party’s new vice-president.

The announcement was made at the NFP’s annual convention and 55th anniversary celebration at AD Patel College grounds yesterday.

He has served in various organisations in a number of capacities and brings to the party a wealth of experience in tourism, sports administration and business.

The party also announced 12 more provisional candidates for the upcoming general election — Ravineshwar Dass, Aman Nath, Bala Dass, Alipate Tuidraki, Prem Singh, Siddiq Faizal Koya, Shailendra Raj, Gabirieli Naborisi, Narendra Reddy and Tiana Tagivakatini.

This brings to 45 the total number of provisional candidates for the 2018 General Election.
