A NEW winner will be crowned in the Under-19 division of the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship underway in Nadi.
Last year’s winners Baulevu High School failed to qualify for the quarter-finals after finishing fourth in its pool.
In the quarters this afternoon, Bulileka College plays Bhawani Dayal, Ahmadiya Secondary plays DAV Suva, Xavier College battles Tilak High School while Kamil Muslim takes on Nadi Muslim College.
The semi-finals start at 8am tomorrow while the final will be played at 2.40pm.
In the last round of pool games played this morning, DAV and Tavua College played to a nil-all draw, Bulileka College beat Vashist 1-nil, Bhawani Dayal and SVC played to a 1-all draw, while Ahmadiya beat Jai Narayan College 1-nil.
