Update: 4:57PM FORMER Suva Touch association president Charles Cleary was impressed with the new teams joining the association.

The Vuladamu Eagles from Delainavesi and the Breakers team that consist of old players from other clubs that formed this new team were part of this year’s competition.

Cleary said he was happy that one of the old clubs, Eastern Hawks, had returned after missing out for a couple of years.

“We’re also happy to have team Tahi from Rotuma, which fielded two teams, we’re glad that they could join us for this season,” he said.

He added the weekly competition was a build-up towards their selection for the national team to the South Pacific Games in Samoa next year.
