RECRUITS you are joining an institution which is centered on service.
Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu highlighted this while opening the Basic Recruit Course 01/18 at the Fiji Police Training Academy at Nasova today.
A total of 95 recruits from the Fiji Police Force, Nauru Police Force and Tuvalu Police Force are part of this six months training.
ACP Tudravu reminded the new recruits that Policing will demand their time.
“This is not an 8am – 5pm job , we are on call 24/7,” he said.
He also reminded the recruits not to test the system.
“We are emphasizing on discipline and professionalism, know what you’re supposed to be doing,” he said.
“No one is indispensable in this institution.”
