New jersey big boost for Ports team

FIJI Ports rugby union have received their new set of jerseys to use in the Escott Shield challenge in the Suva Rugby Union club competition.
Team manager Tomasi Katonivualiku said with the new uniform, the players would be motivated to play their hearts out.
“Since we joined the Suva Rugby Union last year we had tremendously improved on our performance resulting in our promotion to the premier grade in the Escott Shield challenge,” he said.
“We are so thankful to Tabusoro Company for donating our sports gear and our set of jerseys. This will enhance the players’ skills and knowledge in playing rugby and help them to expose their talents.
He said majority of the players were employees while a few have joined this year.
“The team has been preparing well ahead of our match against one of the toughest teams in the union and we’re hoping to give all our best.”
Katonivualiku thanked the Fiji Ports management for having faith in the employees and giving them a chance to participate in the weekly competition.
The side received three match balls along with their training gear.
